Stevan Vuković: Art System in Belgrade—An Experiment in Action Research

Stevan Vuković presented the research project Art System in Belgrade. The work was an attempt to systematize all the agents involved in recognizing, articulating and promoting experimental contemporary art in Belgrade, along with its material, institutional and theoretical support. The primary goal was to map segments of the system and to show how these segments interact in the formation of paradigms and approaches that are all-pervasive in the field. The investigation consisted of on-site, active research and consisted of both reflection and the creative formatting of research findings.

Stevan Vuković is a writer, curator and project manager based in Belgrade. In addition to other activities, he is a curator for visual art and film at the SKC Belgrade and co-founder of the School of Missing Studies.
