Miodrag Krkobabic

THE SPAGHETTI WESTERN PROJECT

Miodrag Krkobabic’s video and photo installations investigate formation processes and determination strategies of personal identity. In taking himself as the center of his work, the artist combines introspection with a relative observation of his own community framework in order to identify and represent different stages in the continuous morphosis of identity. The Spaghetti Western Project was a new stage in this ongoing search for the self, focusing attention on the relationships between past and present, remembrance and expectation, constant internal and external changes.
