In Memoriam

 

Jan Sieber

1982 – 2018

We are deeply saddened to announce the death of art theorist and Büchsenhausen fellow Jan Sieber following a brief but serious illness on 22 May 2018. Jan was a particularly talented young theorist, who would certainly have made a promising, successful career. We will remember him as an extremely sensitive and modest personality, who looked forward with unbroken confidence even to the very end. Originally, our joint intention was to make good his missed fellowship in the winter semester 2018–19, after his recovery from illness. Unfortunately, this was not to be.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
