Franziska Sponring

Franziska Sponring, born in Hall in Tyrol, works between Innsbruck and Vienna. In her practice, she repeatedly deals with translation processes between analog and digital spaces. The result often leads her back to the material and can be found in installative situations. Doubt as a method is part of her artistic production. She is currently also active in teaching in the field of textiles.
Member of the Zentrum für Wurfkeramik since 2019.
She studied textile·art·design at the University of Art and Design Linz and art education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Exchange program at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Marmara University in Istanbul.
