Karin Ferrari

Karin Ferrari studied Painting and Art and Cultural Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She uses visual material from global media culture and artifacts from everyday and pop culture to investigate the present. Selected exhibitions include Krinzinger Schottenfeld, HAU, Berlin, Museion, Bolzano, the 8th Floor/The Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation, New York , Belvedere 21, 19th Media Biennale Wrocław, Pori Art Museum, Ferdinandeum, Innsbruck, Antarctic Biennale, Moscow Biennale for Young Art and Videotage Hongkong. Her videos have been broadcast on ARTE and Austrian television. Numerous awards and artist residencies.
