The focus of the program in February are the work of the artists Susan KELLY and Sandra SCHÄFER, both currently working in Büchsenhausen as Fellows of the International Fellowship Program for Art and Theory.

Susan Kelly is an artist, writer, and educator currently living in London. She writes, makes performances, public artwork, installations and is a lecturer in fine art and visual cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London. Susan Kelly works independently and collectively with the Micropolitics Group, Carrot Workers Collective and Precarious Workers Brigade. Over the last ten years she has worked in Belfast, New York, Toronto, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Tallin, Zagreb, and elsewhere.

Sandra Schäfer is an artist and writer who lives in Berlin. In her works she deals with the representation of gender, urbanism, and (post-)colonialism. She works with a focus on film and video installations, as well as in collaborations with artists and theoreticians, in Kabul, Tehran, London, Barcelona, and Berlin.
