If not me, then you? is a performance in public space by Bita Bell. It echoes and traces a series of individual protests that have taken place globally over the past decade. The performance conjures monumental gestures, fugitive moments, and fleeting presences from these historical archives, re-enlivening them through reenactment and gathering audiences into a shared performative experience in public space.
