In the Belly of Fascism and Colonialism

In Büchsenhausen Annalisa Cannito continued her artistic investigations into the current relevance of the relations between fascism and colonialism in Italy and Europe as a whole. Not least, this was a matter of tracing and visualizing the reasons for the silence over these issues in public discourses in Italy. For this purpose, Cannito invited filmmakers and writers who live between former colonies (Ethiopia, Somalia) and Italy to come to Innsbruck, give presentations on this topic, and engage in discussion with their audiences.
