Social Engine Workshop: Innsbruck Edition

The SocialEngineGame is a mobile project that appears in various geographical locations as a means of encouraging and creating cultural pluralism. SocialEngineGame acts as a central location for saving the results of geographically de-centralized events including workshops, exhibitions and research projects realized by URTICA in cooperation with various partners.
URTICA Art and Media Research Group

The workshop focused on the symbolic articulation and socio-cultural aspect/impact of the artistic message. Through the implementation of head-on and hands-on processes, participants were given the task of defining and creating a message—visual and textual expression—, that they wanted to communicate to the world. The workshop aimed to create social awareness by questioning how socio-cultural codes model our environment and behavior.

The results of the Innsbruck edition of the workshop were uploaded to the SocialEngineGame and made accessible to the public.
